The once former FedEx aircraft donated to ORBIS and flown by volunteer Fedex flight crews, the Flying Eye Hospital MD-10 N330AU aircraft arrived at Dublin from Dubai World Central airport on Feb 28th. Where it parked on the west apron for a 10 day visit. Public airside tours were organised by Orbis Ireland and Cityjet and I was lucky enough to get on one. Talks and demos were given on board the aircraft from the volunteer flight crew and medical staff. Orbis is getting ready for it's next big project in Vietnam. Aircraft will depart Dublin to Stansted on Thursday 9th March at 10am local. Where it will give airside tours there. Many thanks to Orbis bringing sight saving treatment and training to developing countries around the world.
Thank you so much, Donal, we appreciate very much this kind of stuff. The plane looks great, and the livery is fantastic. It is always a pleasure and an excitement to see this kind of machine. Thanks again.
